I understand that as a member of the Salt Lake Vocal Artists I am important as an individual singer to the sound, balance, and excellence of the choir. *2. I understand that I am committing to the full season of the Salt Lake Vocal Artists and any tours connected to the season. I understand that I am expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and concerts for the entire season as scheduled. *4. I understand that if I miss two or more rehearsals for a concert preparation, I may attend a help session to make up the commensurate time. *5. I understand that if I miss two or more rehearsals, I may be asked to attend a testing session to show my level of preparation - usually scheduled prior to rehearsal during concert week. *6. I understand that if an emergency occurs and I must miss a rehearsal or concert on short notice, I must send an email to Dr. Allred notifying him of the situation and ask what I should do to resolve the missed preparation and/or resulting imbalance in the choir. *7. I understand that I must give adequate notice (4-6 weeks) of a scheduling conflict for a concert and, if so, I may be asked to pay for a substitute singer to perform in my place. *8. I understand that I am committing to pay a monthly tuition fee for a 12-month season that helps to cover my musical education, the costs of maintaining the SLCA building (the E. W. I understand that if I have to break my commitment as a singer with SLVA I am still responsible to keep my financial commitment to the organizational budget for the full season. *10.
