AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Women's Choir

For your video recording, please include the following:

1. Please prepare a piano-accompanied solo of your own choice, preferably sostenuto (legato or smooth). A hymn or folk song is also appropriate. The purpose of this is to hear you on music with which you feel comfortable and that will demonstrate your vocal ability.

2. Please include on your video recording a few vocalizes (or warm-up exercises) that will show your comfortable high range and low range. (For example, a five-tone scale up and down ascending by half-steps.)

Please make sure you are able to commit to the full 2021-2022 season of concerts. (Draft schedule will be available soon.)  Because of the precautions and safety measures related to the pandemic, we will be following all governmental guidelines and adjust rehearsals and concerts as needed.

Please fill out the SLCA Audition Form.
