In our tradition of featuring lighter music on our February concert, we present the Utah premiere of “Mass in Blue” by British composer Will Todd. This work is a dynamic, uplifting, and highly popular jazz setting of the Latin Mass. The work features driving grooves and blues harmonies, with piano solos and great moments of musical interplay between soprano soloist and choir. The concert will also feature vocal jazz and other choral works in jazz style.
