The Salt Lake Choral Artists’ celebration of Christmas will include the Utah premiere of “Lux: The Dawn from on High” by American composer Dan Forrest. This multi-movement work celebrates the Light of the World with texts ranging from ancient liturgical chant to scripture to modern secular love poetry. The concert will also include Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” plus traditional carols and holiday favorites with chamber orchestra accompaniment..
