“A Call for Peace” featuring the War Requiem by Benjamin Britten (Friday Evening)

A haunting and monumental work, Britten’s War Requiem weaves the Latin Mass for the dead with the wartime poetry of Wilfred Owen to deliver a searing meditation on loss, faith, and the futility of war — performed with full orchestra, choir, and soloists.
